If Bones Could Talk

Bones are living tissues and require proper nutrition! With osteoporosis, the rate of bone loss speeds up while the rate of making new bone tissue slows down.  Bones become more porous, brittle, fragile, and susceptible to fracture.  If your diet doesn't provide enough calcium or your body doesn't absorb or metabolize it well, your bones may suffer.  Other contributing factors include hormonal imbalance, hyperthyroidism, conventional drugs, lack of exercise, cigarette smoking, high alcohol use, fluoride, environmental toxins and heavy metals.  Caffeine is insidious, especially if it replaces normal sources of calcium in your diet.  The body may have to leech calcium from the bones for use elsewhere.

If your bones could talk, what would they say to you?

The best source of calcium is diet, but a good liquid calcium and magnesium supplement may be essential
for many people.
