Pot Luck Dinner



Expect to see lots of "Pot Luck" dinners after the holidays. Leftovers from holiday meals and other special meals tend to reinvent themselves in the days that follow. We've probably all experienced the several kinds of "Pot Luck" described below.



Some of my favorite meals have started out as pot luck dinners. Creative substitutions for a missing ingredient may turn out to be better than what the recipe called for.


Fellowship is what counts with a pot luck meal. Was it Socrates or Schopenhauer who, when asked what he wanted for his last meal, said, "First let me choose with whom I eat."?

  1. Yes I like this idea of pot luck cooking, much of our cooking is pot luck, most of it works as well :)
